GARY SLOANE
Chairman
From the moment he was old enough to work, Gary’s dad Ron Sloane, a founding partner at Western Propeller, put him to task in the family business. That was 50 years ago! Gary spent 10 years on the floor, getting his hands dirty, and his mind ripe for leadership. In 1980, he expanded the company into Vancouver and set the foundation for what is proudly one of Canada’s foremost aviation maintenance and repair companies.

Gary passed the presidential buck to his son Chad in 2012 and now sits proudly as the Chairman and CEO. He loves spending time with his family, his five grandkids, and on the fairway. Of course, he humbly admits, that even though he spends more time on the links than ever before, this extra practice has not improved his handicap one bit.
